Formula 1 and Tata Communications: Celebration of 100 races

 

This book celebrates the 100th race that took place during the partnership of Formula 1 and Tata Communications. The cover artwork is foil blocked in matte silver on embossed Colourplan. The 100 is reminiscent of speed and a race track.

These are some early drawing for the 100 on the cover. There were also explorations to do numbers in the same style, but in the end it worked better to base everything on Tata’s brand font, Gotham. The heavy italics were setting the right tone for the racing theme.
